Gillette is currently in search of a full-time Sonographer. The primary location will be in St. Paul; however, coverage within our Phalen & Maple Grove clinics is required (for PTO, etc). General hours of operation are Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. RDMS certification required. Experience with pediatrics a plus.
The selected candidate will be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams in compliance with departmental procedures and guidelines. Technologists work with patients of all ages, cultures, and physical conditions providing efficient and effective customer service within the Imaging department.
Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize care around each patient’s condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams.
Compensation Information:
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $38.27/hour to $54.46/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications
Required:
- Certified, registered and in good standing with the ARDMS and RVT OR must complete RVT certification within 12 months of employment.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience working with pediatric and/or disabled populations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of leadership and interpersonal communications as it relates to patients, families, co-workers, medical staff, and others.
- Excellent customer service skills.
