Job Description: ER Registered Nurse
The ER Registered Nurse provides patient care in an emergency room setting. Assesses the patient's condition quickly in an often high-pressure situation and provides treatment based on physicians' orders.
- Documents patient's medical history, condition, and prescribed course of treatment.
- Advises patient on home care and necessary follow-up care.
- The ER Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor for the unit.
