Description
Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures in the laboratory. Is responsible for technical and scientific oversight of the Laboratory. This includes day-to-day supervision and review of reporting of test results, Quality Control, department policies and procedures, calibrations, correlations and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement procedures.
Qualifications
- A.A., B.A. or B.S. in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology which meets certification by STATE DHR or equivalent.
- Four years of Laboratory experience preferably in a leadership capacity.
- State of Florida licensure is required with a minimum of five (5) specialties.
