Position Objective, Typical Duties, and Responsibilities
As a Senior Investment Service Associate, you will play a crucial role within the Investment Team’s Service and Support Group in providing exceptional service and support to our advisors and clients using the World Managed Account Platform (WorldMAP). Your primary responsibility will be to assist advisors with operational, service, and technology matters for WorldMAP. You will work closely with financial advisors, and other team members to deliver timely and accurate assistance. This position is 100% remote and will be working from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- WorldMAP Liaison and Subject Matter Expert
- Serve as liaison between advisors, WorldMAP, the Investment Team, and Vestmark (WorldMAP’s technology vendor).
- Develop and share expertise on Vestmark technology and WorldMAP services, solutions, and policies, and provide training and support to advisors on WorldMAP, as needed by advisors.
- Assist advisors with the process of mapping their books of business to WorldMAP from other platforms and investment strategies.
- Launching New Accounts on WorldMAP
- Verify new account forms are in good order and then ensure new accounts are set up correctly on WorldMAP with Vestmark.
- Revert new account not in good order (NIGO) back to the submitting advisor with details on the issues causing the NIGO.
- Updating Existing Accounts on WorldMAP
- Verify requested updates to existing WorldMAP accounts are in good order and then ensure accounts are correctly updated per the advisor’s instructions with Vestmark.
- Revert account updates that are NIGO back to the submitting advisor with details on the issues causing the NIGO.
- Reviewing and Processing WorldMAP Service and Trading Requests
- Properly prioritize and then process standard WorldMAP service requests and trading requests submitted by advisors for their client accounts.
- Ensure the service requests and trading requests are completed correctly and confirm completion with advisors.
- Revert requests that are NIGO back to the submitting advisor with details on the issues causing the NIGO.
- Responding to Special Service Requests
- Review special service requests from advisors, confirm receipt, and then determine appropriate response or action, in conjunction with Investment Team leadership as needed.
- Creating and Maintaining Model Portfolio Allocations
- Create and update model portfolio allocations for home office model portfolios and advisor model portfolios on WorldMAP.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and communications for all model portfolio changes.
- Issue Remediation and Risk Monitoring
- Assess issues, determine appropriate remedy, and implement solutions, as needed and in conjunction with Investment Team members and/or leaders.
- Monitor platform for compliance and regulatory risks to client accounts, the WorldMAP platform, and the company, and escalate identified issues to Investment Team leadership.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and responsibilities for WorldMAP.
- Assist with requests, questions, tasks, or issues at WorldMAP custodians, as needed.
- Other relevant WorldMAP tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Investment Team leadership.
- Collect feedback from advisors and share ideas for workflow improvement, platform enhancement and expansion, additions to strategist and model line ups, etc.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant wealth management industry experience.
- 3 or more years of relevant investment wealth management industry experience.
- Strong written and verbal client communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, and excellent responsiveness to requests/questions in a professional setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Excellent accountability for deadlines and execution of tasks and follow-up.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications
- Experience with the processes involved with opening, trading, rebalancing, reallocating, and servicing wealth management client accounts.
- Experience with Vestmark or other similar trading technology, or with third-party asset management platforms such as Envestnet and Assetmark.
- Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 63/65 combination (or willingness to get them in first 12 months of joining team).
Compensation
The salary for this position generally ranges between $60,000 to $80,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The firm also has a bonus program.
