About The Role
Position Summary:
The Fractional Chief Financial Officer will act as the Fractional CFO for multiple companies/clients of DAAXIT, specifically in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for coaching the business owner to reach objectives by providing these clients monthly and quarterly financial reviews, establishing a budget, strategic planning, WIP calculations, and helping to develop the business and its people.

Essential Job Functions
- Act as Chief Financial Officer for DAAXIT clients and partners.
- Provide clients with the tools, resources, and personal coaching to help partners develop financial literacy, financial freedom, and develop the financial knowledge of their team.
- Execute and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reviews for all partners, via their preferred form of communication.
- Establish and abide by the communication expectations of the clients at the agreed upon frequency and method of communication.
- Demonstrate ability to integrate oneself into the client’s team, with the mindset of customer service always at the forefront.
- Adapt to and utilize the Company’s mission, vision and value to help guide and direct business owners with confidence to help develop their financial freedom and understanding.
- Draft and help clients execute an annual budget.
- Drive the strategic planning process for all clients and help provide the tools and resources for the team to be accountable in the planning process.
- Foster the partner relationship to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ability to perform WIP calculations at an expert level and deliver the necessary information to the client.
- Ability to calculate financial KPI’s and deliver the necessary information to the client.
- Provide weekly updates to the leadership team regarding client work status and financial development.
- Maintain the upmost confidentiality as it pertains to client and Company information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to operate in a professional capacity in Microsoft Office, with high proficiency in Excel.
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks or other ERP systems common to the construction industry which may include, but is not limited to, Sage, Timberline, Spectrum, Trimble, Acumatica and Viewpoint.
- Professional-level communication, both written and oral.
- Ability to demonstrate and coach clients on financial literacy.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, including 3-5 years of experience in a management-level or CFO role in the construction industry.

The primary language of DAAXIT is English. Excellent communication skills are defined as the ability to:

- Relay information and/or instruction in a descriptive and understandable fashion in both written and verbal forms.
Mathematical Requirements
This position requires an expert-level understanding of financial & statistical analysis and configuring basic and/or advanced inferences. Expert-level accounting knowledge is required, as well as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills to the general degree.
Reasoning Ability Requirements
Professional-level reasoning abilities are necessary to process complex information, delegate duties (as necessary), and prioritize deadlines. This individual must be an expert at communicating financial information to partners, with the goal of creating meaning, value and a positive outcome in each conversation.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs. may be necessary from time to time.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, view a computer monitor, and type (up to 8 hours a day).
- Valid driver’s license, a good driving record is required, and a working vehicle is required. This position will mainly work remotely but may be required to travel from time to time.
