The Opportunity
Data has become a strategic asset of Adobe fueling all aspects of business decision-making. Real-time personalized customer experiences are driving the future of Adobe's business. This position will be a key role within the Enterprise Data & Analytics platform team to provide solutions interacting with data and powering insights needed to realize business objectives.
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Customer Account Management team, you will build an engaging web platform that hosts all Adobe customer accounts in one place and provides access to various internal consumers (sales, marketing, support, other business units) who will search, manage, and govern the data for their business needs.
An ideal candidate can lead design discussions and implement applications independently with a panache towards building experiences for analytics customers. Our team builds platform service and Web Experiences that are consistent across our family of EDA products. The winning candidate for this high-impact role must demonstrate deep knowledge of software building in the space of data platforms, and their experience solving customer problems building world-class experiences around data analytics.
What you'll Do
- Build and own implementation of microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams and contribute across planning, modeling, design, implementation, support, and performance optimization of Customer Account Management microservices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influencing the product roadmap, and taking ownership and responsibility over new projects.
- Handle periodic on-call duty as well as out-of-band requests; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Design and build data pipelines for batch, near-real-time, and real-time processing.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment, planning features and prioritizing changes based on team goals, product usage, and user feedback.
What you need to succeed
- 5-8 years of experience in full-stack software development & design.
- Solid understanding of web services, API, REST, and RPC; Proficiency in Java/Python.
- Experience with AI technologies and integration preferred (Llama, OpenAI).
- Experience with vector databases preferred (Milvus, Pinecone).
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying applications with CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of using one or more database SQL, noSQL, and graph databases.
- Knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Kafka, EMR, and EKS.
- Experience with building user interfaces; UX design experience preferred.
- Experience with Java and RESTful development.
- Experience with business analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
- Effective communication with the ability to execute on defined milestones.
- Experience with full-stack web development technologies is a plus.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
