Big 4 Seniors: Looking for a role where you have a seat at the table providing value-added analysis and guidance to BU leaders and executives? Our DC-based client has a track record of hiring Big 4 senior auditors and promoting them to Manager, Director, even CFO. This is an amazing team of fun, motivated professionals who value life outside the office. In this role, you'll be responsible for the month-end close, cash projections and will assist with SEC filings. Growth can be into FP&A, financial systems or financial reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for preparing the accounting operations monthly close including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for accounts including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and T&E.
- Perform daily cash clearing and prepare daily cash balances.
- Assist with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process for cash.
- Monitor the corporate card program.
- Perform responsibilities in compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the broader Finance team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.
- BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.
- CPA with public accounting experience preferred with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
- Expert proficiency with Excel.
- Life Sciences a plus.
