The Role
The Senior Director, Sourcing Engagement is a strategic leadership position responsible for leading initiatives that drive sourcing program engagement, satisfaction, and compliance with brand standards. They will be responsible for optimizing sourcing spend through effective collaboration with Category Management and Sourcing Operations. This role will lead a team to oversee programs that connect various sourcing initiatives across multiple processes while managing sponsorships to enhance sourcing program visibility and engagement.
What you'll do
- Sourcing Analytics & Insights: Collaborate with the Sourcing Engagement team to leverage sourcing analytics that identify purchasing and compliance trends, informing strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Program Leadership: Partner with Category Management and Sourcing Operations to implement new supplier programs and lead initiatives that drive engagement with sourcing programs, ensure compliance with brand standards, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with hotel-facing teams, including, but not limited to, Brand & Field Operations, Quality, Integration, Development, and Architectural, Design & Construction, to connect sourcing programs with internal processes and initiatives.
- Customer Service Enhancement: Improve customer service and issue resolution processes by establishing a feedback loop between Sourcing Operations and Category Management.
- Operational Support Oversight: Oversee OSD support to create efficiencies and targeted initiatives that raise awareness and satisfaction with Wyndham Sourcing programs.
- Evaluate Supply Market Landscape: Leverage customer feedback and insights to help vet potential new suppliers and support competitive analysis for category management.
- Sponsorship Program Execution: Lead the execution of the Wyndham Global Conference Sponsorship program and oversee event sponsorships for key initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in sourcing, operations, or sponsorship/event management.
- Master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or hotel administration desired.
