Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure and resilient network infrastructure for C4ISR systems and autonomous technologies. The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, availability, and performance of mission-critical networks and communications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Design:
- Research and analyze integration of C4ISR and sensor systems into network infrastructure.
- Design and develop prototype deployable communications, datalink, and sensor systems networks.
- Implement and verify communication capability between devices, databases, and services with Government approval.
- Zero Trust Architecture
Cybersecurity and Resilience:
- Assess system security and cyber-resiliency of network infrastructure for C4ISR systems.
- Develop recommendations for security controls, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement Zero Trust principles and detect/resolve vulnerabilities in network infrastructure.
Network Modernization:
- Integrate updated Zero Trust technologies and services to legacy network hardware and software systems.
- Create scalable network services to handle rapid changes in workloads and user demands.
- Ensure network architecture remains highly accessible and adaptable to evolving mission requirements.
Technical Analysis and Engineering:
- Conduct analysis and develop recommendations for communication networking and infrastructure.
- Develop test plans and analyze testing of future communications devices and protocols.
- Collaborate with Government designers and engineers to resolve network design and implementation challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in network engineering, computer science, or related field
- 13+ years of experience in network infrastructure design, cybersecurity, and network modernization.
- Strong expertise in wireless communication, network architecture design, and data processing.
- Experience with implementing Zero Trust security principles and vulnerability assessments.
- Individual may require 8140 / 8570 baseline certifications based on actual job duties.
Contract Award expected Summer 2024. Positions are contingent upon award and funding.

Basic Compensation:
$110,010 -$165,015
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
