Job Overview
Successful candidates will possess significant experience and skills in the analysis, design, and development of custom Java based enterprise applications. Specifically, candidates will have demonstrable skills in architecting, configuring, building, deploying, and supporting Java based applications in large scale enterprise environments. A deep understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available. The candidate will work directly with senior-level systems and software engineers and architects to design and implement solutions in a large complex worldwide enterprise.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands on JEE/Java/JavaScript development experience.
- 7+ years total experience supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or development role.
- Experience in customizing identity and access management (IAM) solutions is highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of OpenAM, ForgeRock, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar suite of products is highly desired.
- Experience with web services and APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with standard authentication protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
Typical Duties/Abilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom IAM solutions using the ForgeRock product suite (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG).
- Customize ForgeRock components using Java code to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts and connectors for ForgeRock products.
- Ensuring solutions meet maintainability, reliability, sustainability, capacity, and security requirements.
- Supporting the Program Management Offices (PMOs) and/or users to address their requests, questions, and concerns.
Soft Skills:
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus.
Education/Certifications:
- BS degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline.

Pay: $127,608.00 - $134,116.00 per year
