PURPOSE
FormFactor Inc. is seeking a proactive and strategic Product Marketing Director for our memory probe card portfolio. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the commercial success of our product line. It requires a deep understanding of the market, thorough customer knowledge, and the ability to translate this insight into compelling product roadmaps and robust go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative approach to ensure our products not only meet but exceed market expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies for the memory probe card portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Foster collaboration with sales, customers, and engineering teams to define product specifications and roadmap, ensuring products are developed to meet customer needs and market trends.
- Create and present compelling business cases to support market and business development efforts, underscoring the value and benefits of our products.
- Define and articulate customer use cases to aid in the development of product solutions, helping to drive innovation and product improvement.
- Effectively manage teams and lead through influence, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop distinctive product positioning and messaging that sets our products apart in the market, highlighting unique features and benefits.
- Plan and execute impactful product launches, coordinating efforts across teams for maximum reach and effectiveness.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to inform product development and positioning, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and customer demands.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive demand and ensure customer success, contributing to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or another technical degree is required. Advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10+ years of product management/marketing experience in the semiconductor, test and measurement, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of Semiconductor theory of operations, applications, and design.
- Expert level understanding of memory technology and market trends is necessary.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and promoting a team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- The position demands the flexibility and willingness to travel for business up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally to customer sites, subsidiary offices, and relevant sales or marketing events.
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $192,400 and $252,525. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
