The Senior Product Manager for Ads (Ecosystem) at Roblox Corporation will play a crucial role in building the ad system to power 3D immersive spaces. You will have the opportunity to create a system that enables businesses, brands, and developers to reach their audiences in new and immersive ways. As the Senior Product Manager for Ads, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Management for Ads, and your success in this role will be determined by your ability to craft a winning strategy for Roblox's ad partnerships.
In this role, you will:
- Guide the technical design and roadmap for Roblox’s ad partnership strategy to help grow and improve Roblox’s access to a diverse range of demand sources.
- Drive the evaluation and selection of eligible third-party demand, verification, audience, and measurement (brand lift) partners.
- Collaborate with engineering, DSA, and design teams to develop the features that drive Roblox's growth, ensuring the advertising bar is maintained at a high standard. Equivalent experience will be considered in addition to educational requirements like DSA.
- Devise strategies for managing ad quality, including ad fraud, integrity, and moderation, in partnership with third parties.
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Deep familiarity with video ad technology and experience working with brands, agencies, and large media companies.
- Familiarity with advertiser ad server products, DSP/SSP products, or other self-service ad platforms. Knowledge of how ad servers are configured and the functioning of various supply-side and demand-side platforms.
- An understanding of brand advertising measurement methods such as brand lift, audience verification, and brand safety.
- A deep understanding of RTB advertising protocols and standards, such as OpenRTB and Prebid.org, header bidding.
- Experience with driving standards with industry organizations such as the IAB, MRC, GARM, and Prebid.org.
As a Senior Product Manager, you are:
- Experienced with 6+ years of product management experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
- The E2E owner of the product development life cycle from inception through planning to launch.
- Opinionated and willing to make calls with limited information. You are comfortable advocating for resources and operating in a dynamic, fluid organization.
- Technical, comfortable delving into product, platform, and implementation details. You engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs and design scalable solutions.
- Skilled in analyzing and applying metrics to inform decision-making, using A/B testing methods. You have a proven track record to identify important indicators and collaborate with engineering and analytics professionals to implement effective monitoring solutions.
- A close partner to engineering and design and proficient in building very detailed technical specifications or wireframes.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$220,110 — $269,640 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
