Saint Xavier University is seeking an outstanding professionally qualified candidate for the full-time position of Graduate and Adult Program Director in the Graham School of Management who will manage the MBA program and its concentrations, as well as the undergraduate BBA Fast Track Program. The position would be primarily non-academic with a main responsibility of growing enrollment in the programs including partnership development and recruitment activities. The person in the position would also teach part-time (1 course per semester or .25FTE) in the business program. The Graduate and Adult Program Director will report to the Director of the Graham School of Management.
Enrollment and Recruitment Responsibilities:
- Secure partnerships with external businesses in the Chicagoland area to enhance program enrollment.
- Implement and evaluate a comprehensive marketing plan in association with University Relations and the Enrollment Office.
- Promote the MBA program and adult BBA Fast Track program through information sessions.
- Review applications and facilitate new student admission.
- Orient new MBA students.
- Academically advise MBA students through their program duration.
- Maintain a student tracker/database for both the BBA Fast Track and MBA programs.
- Manage MBA student grade appeal processes.
- Identify MBA student probationary status and student dismissal in consultation with the GSM director.
- Develop two-year BBA FT and MBA course schedules in consultation with the GSM Director.
- Part-time teaching in the business program (1 course per semester or .25 FTE).
The candidate must have at least a Master's degree in a Business discipline, and have significant experience with adult and graduate enrollment, retention, and recruiting efforts. Prior experience in having successfully developed corporate partnerships to enhance enrollment will be a significant advantage in the application process. The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal and mentoring skills, as well as demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
