Weintraub Tobin is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become a key member of the Firm’s Administrative Team who will report directly to the Managing Partner. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, project costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private or institutional financing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership in and continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial decisions
- Ensure the credibility of the Finance group by providing timely monthly reporting and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts of revenue and cash flow
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory issues
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners to identify their unique needs and seek a full range of business solutions to support them
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities being considered. Anticipate and help collect appropriate information to help make better business decisions.
- Manage and improve processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the company
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance overall financial performance
- Manage all outside service provider relationships and negotiate best rates annually
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- 10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
- PC proficiency is essential (MS Office environment) and strong working knowledge of software accounting systems.
