We are looking for a Vice President of Sales and Customer Success to serve teams and organizations across all sports at the high school and amateur club levels in the United States.
Our media brand sales team focuses on strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. This role will oversee the sales directors for these areas and will be responsible for the career development and coaching of these directors and their teams. They will lead strategic decision-making across teams, revenue and engagement forecasting, and overall attainment of revenue goals.
Hudl has a flexible work location policy. While we have a strong preference for this role to be located in Nebraska, we'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office, our Boston, MA office or remotely within the U.S. This role is not open to remote employees in the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont.
You Are
- A proven sales leader. You have proven experience in managing high performing sales directors and driving go-to-market strategies. Preference is given to candidates that have managed both acquisition and renewal business lines.
- An industry expert. You have a demonstrated track record in selling SaaS products and services, and have excelled in a complex B2B sales environment. Preference given to candidates who have overseen a nationwide team.
- A focused people leader. You have many examples of hiring and growing great talent in business development teams. You can hold direct reports, downline, and outside stakeholders accountable to a high level of performance.
- Inspirational. You’re an inspirational leader with a history of exceeding quota and overcoming challenges. You believe in trusting your team, coaching them and providing ownership.
- Effective, yet innovative. You want to enhance current processes that make our sales team more efficient. In the same breath, you’re willing to challenge our current processes and tweak or eliminate those that don’t work.
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment. You’ve managed a large team with a high velocity sales process and are comfortable executing in an ever-evolving organization.
You Will
- Manage a large organization with significant revenue impact. You will manage a downline of over 200 individuals with a nine-figure revenue target and high growth expectations.
- Work collaboratively. You’ll build relationships with various department stakeholders (marketing, hardware, revenue operations, hiring, etc.) to create successful strategies for product rollout and sales implementation.
- Grow the business. You’ll help build a multi-year business plan to hit strategic revenue goals. You’ll actively maintain a pulse for our competitors and will create new strategies as we pivot to win and protect our markets.
- Analyze pipeline & prepare projections. Analyze and interpret salesforce data, pipelines (by product, sport and market) to produce accurate projections.
- Eliminate roadblocks. You’ll take barriers head-on to eliminate roadblocks that are preventing sales or decreasing team efficiency.
- Impact accountability. Help foster a culture of high accountability where you own your team's development, successes and failures.
- Evaluate the incentive structure. Build an incentive structure to maximize team productivity and efficiency.
- Be the face of the organization. Lead with high visibility and transparency as the face of the organization to gain buy-in across the team.
- Coach daily. You will cultivate a culture of consistent coaching and hold yourself and your downline teams to daily coaching expectations to always be developing the organization.
