**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Vice President of Finance for the Anchorage office in Alaska to develop financial procedures, controls and reporting/compliance systems for BSNC and subsidiaries; manage corporate-wide cash and debt management and forecasting; oversee the corporation’s budgeting and financial planning processes; ensure that sound financial controls are in place and adhered to; support the CFO in investment planning/tracking, corporate development, and portfolio management; and provide oversight on tax compliance and planning functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work cross-departmentally and functionally with internal groups such as Accounting, Operations, Contracts and Legal to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and process improvement.
- Maintain responsibility for short and long term cash monitoring for BSNC and subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain process documentation and develop accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead efforts to strengthen and assess effectiveness of internal controls.
- Participate in strategic planning development of organizational structure to effectively accomplish the BSNC goals and objectives.
- Advise members of senior management on financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow.
- Responsible for preparation of financial reporting information for internal and external stakeholders, including annual report and monthly reporting.
- Coordinate and supervise preparation of all federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Coordinate activities of outside auditors in conjunction with 401k, 7(i) and financial statement audits.
- Research complex accounting issues including new pronouncements and determine adoption plans.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and line of business analysis.

- Serves as team leader and motivator, balances team and individual responsibilities and contributes to building a positive team atmosphere.
- Successfully coaches subordinates to improve team performance.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field (accounting, finance, business administration) plus a CPA and/or MBA.
- 7 or more years of progressive finance experience with increasing managerial responsibilities.
- 5 or more years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

- Able to solve problems and communicate effectively with departments and personnel throughout the organization.
- Knowledge and proficient in the usage of computers, especially Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
