Responsibilities:
- Oversees and is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all new products.
- Fully responsible for applying industry and business vision to anticipate emerging products and markets, and to develop the most important product strategies.
- Responsible for developing product management objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Understand the competitive landscape and stay abreast of latest product and technology trends and use the knowledge to inform requirements and new product features.
- Provide strategic leadership, staff leadership and responsibility for the annual revenue plan, budgeting process and P&L.
- Collaborate with internal monetization and ad sales teams to define new and optimize existing revenue opportunities.
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage contracts with key partners. Identify critical success factors for large deal transactions.
- Research marketplace and develop winning strategies to achieve market leadership, as measured by revenue growth, site traffic and user loyalty.
- Work with your team to translate business needs into delivery of Product Requirements.
- Identify dependencies, assumptions and constraints that affect the outcome of each project.
- Plan iterations and lead inspection efforts throughout life cycle.
Requirements:
- 10 years experience in the online space, ideally in the health & fitness industry.
- 6 years product management experience.
- Proven track record as a product leader - complete life cycles of winning products in a fast-paced environment (prefer health & fitness expertise).
- Track record of delivering high quality and timely product direction and requirements.
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage contracts with key partners. Identify critical success factors for large deal transactions.
- Research marketplace and develop winning strategies to achieve market leadership, as measured by revenue growth, site traffic and user loyalty.
- Experience managing the technical aspects of an ecommerce web health & fitness product/platform.
- Working knowledge of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web and application development.
- Must be a committed team leader, able to drive their team, interact with executive management, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work and strive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driver, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience leading teams of 6-12 people.
