VIP & Digital Senior Talent Director
A dynamic full-service communications and experiential marketing firm is seeking an experienced professional to join its team. The company specializes in creating both in-person and digital experiences, crafting innovative strategies, and running campaigns for various brands within the fashion and lifestyle industries.
We are looking for a highly effective, collaborative, and seasoned Senior Director of Showroom and Talent Relations. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing team and contribute positively to the company's success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple accounts, strategies, budgets, showroom appointments, and build relationships with celebrities, influencers, tastemakers, and key opinion leaders.
- Act as a thought leader in the VIP and digital space, manage a team, and work across diverse categories including fashion, beauty, technology, health, and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage account teams and brand clients, effectively communicating strategies to respective channels and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure client needs are met efficiently and accurately.
- Provide strategic insights on showroom activities and client communication channels (email, calls, meetings, etc.).
- Supervise day-to-day client initiatives and align expectations to monitor team workload and bandwidth.
- Identify and address team development needs, offering ongoing performance feedback and empowerment.
- Lead the creation of proposals, presentations, budgets, and manage billable hours.
- Oversee client projects from inception to execution, including events, collaborations, and mailers.
- Work cross-functionally to meet project requirements.
- Curate and manage talent-related needs, including list building, appointments, and gifting.
- Handle client billing, contracts, and financial reports as needed.
- Build senior-level relationships within the client organization.
- Contribute ideas and strategies to win new business.
- Assist in showroom tasks, including unpacking or packing shipments, organizing inventory, and managing the showroom floor.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in Celebrity and Influencer Experiential Marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and growing brand-focused businesses.
- Established network of direct relationships with celebrities, influencers, management, key opinion leaders, and tastemakers.
- Agency experience is essential.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Ability to design and scale processes across multiple programs and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective leadership and management skills to mentor and motivate team members.
