ResponsibilitiesThe Division of Endocrinology in Rochester is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty position committed to clinical and academic excellence in diabetes and endocrinology with the desire to work in clinical practice in both areas. The opportunity also has potential to evolve new models of inpatient care, conduct clinical research especially clinical trials.

- A multidisciplinary, integrated specialty care clinic where patients receive services in one place working in partnership with diabetes educators and advanced practice providers.
- Consultative inpatient diabetes/endocrinology service with a fellow, a resident, advanced practice providers and diabetes educators.
- This integrated care model fosters close working relationships with medical and surgical colleagues encouraging dialogue, leveraging experience and collaboration.
- New innovative inpatient care models are being developed throughout the institution to take Mayo Clinic boldly forward towards integrated care in the hospital and clinics. This will give the faculty an opportunity to collaboratively lead this effort in Diabetes/Endocrinology service.
- An atmosphere that fosters on-site collaboration with multiple specialists that focuses on teamwork and integrity that increases staff satisfaction and promotes high quality care for patients.
- Robust resources and allotted time that provides support to those interested in research or education endeavors.
- Involvement in educational activities including supervision of trainees including medical students, residents and fellows.
QualificationsCandidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Endocrinology and eligible for a Minnesota state medical license.
