With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Spartanburg Office, 250 Dewey Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
Responsibilities:
- See assigned patients, including adults, children, and adolescents, providing psychiatric evaluation of patients and prescribing medications.
- Participate in the Center's Doctors On-call and evaluate patients for intake.
- Provide consultation for clinical staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an approved school of medicine and completion of three (3) years residency in psychiatry with at least two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric program.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
