PARTNER OPERATIONS - EPIC GAMES STORE
What We Do
The Store Operations & Release Management team within the Epic Games Store works closely with external partners and our Account Management, Technical, Marketing, Social, QA, and many other internal teams to drive the product release effort as we build and maintain the premier multi-platform storefront across PC and Mobile.
What You'll Do
The Store Operations & Release Management (STORM) team is looking to hire a Senior Operations Manager with critical knowledge and expertise in the partner operations and release management processes that support the Epic Games Store. This role will focus on enabling operational efficiency for a broad set of functions that aid our Epic Games Store partners ability to distribute their products on the platform.
In this role, you will
- Drive excellence in store and product quality on EGS by iteratively enhancing the process of validating products on all platforms pre- and post-launch. Identify and implement ideal tooling solutions to accomplish these goals. Guarantee adherence to EGS policies and standards, ensuring all products consistently deliver expected features and functionality.
- Harness insights from partner cases and forum interactions to elevate and cultivate best-in-industry partner support that caters to partners across diverse skill and experience levels.
- Manage and refine workflows developed to operationalize a variety of Store programs and equip Partners with resources needed for their program participation success.
- Craft and implement a comprehensive global SPT support framework to broaden the reach of EGS, fostering new partnerships across diverse global regions. This model will prioritize in-language support, ensuring seamless communication and assistance tailored to specific regions.
- Build bridges - Collaborate with Store Operations & Release Management, Technical Account Managers, Marketing, and other teams to identify common themes for partner-impacting improvement; lead exercises that align on priority and solution ranking and drive them to successful outcomes.
- Communicate - Provide transparency on project statuses and risks to stakeholders to ensure proper alignment across multiple channels.
What we're looking for
- 7-10 years of program and/or product release management or production experience.
- Proven tolerance for ambiguity and willingness to pick up any tasks thrown your way to support the team effort.
- Strong preference for applicants with exposure to Gaming industry release process and merchandising a game store or marketplace.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in external partner engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative and understand the value of bringing perspectives together to accomplish tasks.
- Familiarity with the following tools:
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
- JIRA, Confluence, Asana.
- Tableau.
- Excels at leaving things better than they found them, constantly pushing for improvements in our process, tools, documentation, quality, and partner experience.
- Talent in driving success with minimal supervision.
This role is open to multiple locations (including CA & WA).
Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
California Base Pay Range
$135,686 — $199,007 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$135,686 — $199,007 USD
