LTSE supports companies from their formation through thriving in public markets by promoting long-term outperformance for all company stakeholders. LTSE built the first equity management solution that also supports building better and more equitable company foundations. This role supports the most mature LTSE Equity customers and other late-stage privates in their transition to public markets and in particular being listed on our U.S. national securities exchange.
Lead LTSE investors include Founders Fund, Collaborative Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, Obvious Ventures, Uprising, and Initialized. LTSE was founded by Eric Ries, an entrepreneur, New York Times-bestselling author, and the creator of the Lean Startup methodology.
The role:
As VP Product, Private Markets, you will partner with the LTSE Software leadership team (CEO, GM, and Head of Marketing) and use insights from our public Capital Market Solutions to prototype initial solutions in 2022 and work closely with initial customers. You will also be responsible for setting product strategy and leveraging the groundwork done to date in the IR and ESG tooling space. You will help us prove the opportunity behind standardizing private company data (like those at Open Cap Table Coalition) and being the first partner-oriented vendor in the ecosystem. Success in 2022 will entail commercial engagement with five or more mid to late-stage private companies and enough signal to build a new product line P&L in 2023.
Your performance will be measured by:
- Commercial potential of the first engaged customers and their NPS score
- Number and velocity of product experiments
- Product strategy and roadmap evolution that leads to new business line opportunities
- ACV potential of customer-validated experiments
You will be responsible for:
- Refinement and coordinated execution of Private Market Solutions strategy, informed by the competitive landscape, customer learnings, and analysis.
- Owning product exploration and growth experiments with the intent of improving customer engagement.
- Ongoing improvements to the breadth and depth of our product offering, including pricing and packaging.
- Defining and directly managing execution of our mission-specific product roadmap (from ESG tooling to industry partnerships that help us promote more equitable outcomes)
- Collaborating with marketing to continuously hone our product pitch as part of a broader LTSE effort
- Defining and owning our data and API strategy
- Supporting our broader startup community leadership role
- Hiring for various product roles and managing the team required to build initial prototypes
You would be a great fit if you:
- Are a startup founder. You love to build teams and products. You can think strategically and also dive into the details to get things done.
- Previously built or brought to market private or public capital market products and owned business KPIs
- Care about empowering entrepreneurs, and have an ability to engage and develop credibility in the startup ecosystem.
- Are great at communicating with customers and partners.
- Have a love for using data to back up an argument.
- Have managed product (PM, design, growth, and marketing) and commercial (sales, success) functions.
Benefits include:
- People. Work in a mission-based company with skilled, committed, and supportive teammates who share your desire to create a new kind of public market, and have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- A commitment to a sustainable work environment, including an unlimited vacation policy that requires team members to take a minimum of three weeks vacation per year.
- 401k.
- Cell phone reimbursement.
- Computer and home office setup.
