About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB-GYN to join their hospital team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new program at the hospital, allowing you to play a crucial role in shaping medical care at their facility. Work seven 24-hour shifts/month in-house.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including ER and walk-ins.
- Ensure consistent performance of clinical services in accordance with program definition.
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal-Fetal-Medicine support may only be available by telephone.
- Participate in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols at the assigned site.
- Ensure that practice consistently conforms to hospital guidelines, policies, and protocols.
- Collaborate with team to ensure hospitalist participation in overall quality initiatives.
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds.
- Participate in clinical drills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Licensure and Certification: Must have or be eligible for a State Medical License.
Candidates should be team-oriented, service-minded, and committed to staying current with their skills. They should be able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, and staff physicians.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $250K/yr - $350K/yr.
