We are looking to hire 2 full-time Hospitalists.
The hospital is a 349-bed high-rise facility founded in 1854. It offers the latest in technology and services while honoring its long history of service to the poor and vulnerable. Through the partnership between our medical staff and facilities, we experience financial and strategic stability in an ever-changing healthcare market.
Education, Training and Experience Required
- Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience helpful
- Licensed in the State of Alabama or willingness to obtain license
Hospitalist Services
- 18 shifts per month in a flexible scheduling format
- NPs do the majority of admits
- Excellent earning potential
- 20-22 patients per shift
- Rapid response & code team to run codes
- Open ICU with a large pulmonary intensivist group as primary caregivers
- 13 rural hospitals feed the hospital
- Clinical autonomy with a financially sound health system
- EMR System – Cerner
- Located on the beautiful Gulf Coast
