Pathologist
We are inviting a highly skilled and meticulous Pathologist to become a critical part of our dedicated healthcare team, engaging in detailed diagnostic practices to effectively understand and manage diseases. In this role, you will analyze tissue samples, bodily fluids, and perform autopsies to offer essential insights that aid in medical diagnoses and treatments, thereby playing a pivotal role in our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine and analyze tissue samples and cytology specimens to detect disease, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in every case.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss case-specific diagnostic findings and provide expert opinions essential for patient treatment strategies.
- Perform detailed autopsies to support legal or medical investigations, explaining the findings clearly and accurately.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping updated on the latest developments in pathology research, techniques, and best practices.
- Maintain meticulous records and detailed documentation of diagnostic findings and reports, ensuring they adhere to required standards.
- Take part in medical or interdisciplinary team meetings regularly to discuss case findings and consult on challenging diagnoses.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as pre-med, biology, or chemistry.
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Anatomic Pathology (AP), Clinical Pathology (CP), or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
- Unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of tissue specimens throughout testing and analysis.
- Proficiency in using modern laboratory technology and equipment pertinent to pathology.
- Valid and active medical license and board certification in pathology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty area such as forensic pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, or dermatopathology.
- Significant experience and proven track record in a similar role within large, high-volume medical facilities.
- Publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, highlighting research and advancements in pathology.
- Expertise in molecular pathology techniques and diagnostics.
- Ability to lead collaborative efforts and initiatives within the pathology department.
- Active participation in professional organizations and continuous professional development opportunities.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for accurate disease identification and characterization.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, pathology techniques, and comprehensive disease mechanisms.
- Ability to handle complex laboratory equipment and adapt to new technologies used in pathology.
- Exceptional attention to detail in observing microscopic and macroscopic changes within specimens.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with a broad team of healthcare specialists and contribute to interdisciplinary case discussions.
