The Department of Pediatrics of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seeks a junior or mid-career Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join the Division of Neonatology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. This position requires strong clinical and teaching skills to attend in our high-acuity NICUs alongside our large team of 40 neonatologists, 12 Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellows, and Pediatric Residents. Our growing multidisciplinary NICU team includes Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Neonatal Physicians Assistants, NICU Nurses and Clinical Specialists, Lactation Specialists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Child Life Specialists, and Psychologists.
The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan area’s only hospital designed exclusively for children. Today, it is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, treating over 230,000 children per year and serving 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.
