Position: Pediatric Speech Therapist/Clinical Fellow – Center-Based

About this role:
- Full-Time Licensed Speech Therapist or Clinical Fellow (CF) for school-age children (ages 5-21)
- Located in Farmingdale, NY
- Compensation: $60-68k / year
- Availability during school hours (8:00am-4:00pm), full calendar year
- Experience with autism and AAC
- CF preferred, TSSLD required
- Full, on-site supervision provided by a certified Speech Therapist
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
- Administer speech and language evaluations, and write evaluation reports
- Ongoing communication and collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Special Educators specifically related to overall language and functional communication.
- Oversight of student’s Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
- Utilize students’ behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans during sessions.
- Maintain professionalism with families, school districts, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
- Create and maintain schedule.
- Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
- Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

And this background:
- Current NYS Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or on track to complete Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
- Experience working with students with autism preferred.
- Experience programming and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices
- Bilingual is a plus.
