Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology sales, account management, and customer service. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities through outside sales efforts and networking.
- Utilize Salesforce to track sales performance, manage leads, and analyze market trends.
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that support sales initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in technology or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and account management practices.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
