ECS is seeking a Portfolio Director, Cyber Solutions to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description:
ECS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Director to lead multiple programs and growth priorities within our DHS CISA Account. In this role, you will serve as a key member of a growing team of leaders delivering highly impactful products and services on behalf of the nation’s newest Federal Agency. In this role, you will serve as a mentor, coach, and role model to the CISA Division’s Project Managers and work with Government leadership to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In this role you will also lead business development activities in support of the CISA Account. Those activities include identifying potential contract opportunities, performing capture actions related to those opportunities, coordinating teaming agreements with partners, and proposal preparation/submission actions. You will oversee multiple programs and lead a dynamic, multi-discipline teams to advance CISA Account objectives. The Portfolio Director will ensure we meet business objectives by actively projecting, controlling and optimizing costs. The Portfolio Director will build and retain a team of top talent.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of progressive and broad experience in successfully managing projects and programs in support of Federal government customers
- Expertise in strategic planning / consulting services for a large, federal customer; experience in consulting with clients to define needs and issues, developing requirements, and analyzing findings to advise and recommend solutions to clients
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed teams to affectively achieve project outcomes in a dynamic, agile environment
- Superior interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Expertise working directly with executive and senior-level federal clients
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work streams, competing requirements and multiple schedules and to facilitate coordination and reconciliation between different stakeholders with the aim of delivering a comprehensive solution that exceeds expectations
- Experience executing and overseeing federal contracts, including an understanding of contracts, subcontracts and financial management
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and grow business within a dynamic customer environment
- Experience successfully leading and executing all phases of the business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, capture and proposal preparation.
- A demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving, and leading teams to success.
- PMP certification
Desired Skills:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Experience managing DHS CISA Programs and initiatives
