The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for overseeing all functional aspects of It's A Secret Med Spa Clinical Operations by providing training, evaluations, coaching, and competency assessments for the clinical staff. The NP is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining the Standing Orders, consent forms, and treatment forms on an annual basis and as needed.

Job Duties
- The ability to provide exceptional service to clientele to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity within the locations.
- Responsible to ensure that the spas are working within the scope of the licensed individuals.
- Works with the Medical Directors to ensure that standing delegation orders are in place and maintain annual review as needed necessary for business management.
- Meets with Medical Directors on a monthly basis and consult medical director as needed to relay pertinent clinical information as needed.
- Host monthly Midlevel meetings with location midlevel providers to maintain consistent standards in all locations.
- Maintains accurate documentation of treatment in all patient/client medical records.
- Performs in-depth interview sessions with patient/clients, reviewing the risks and benefits, obtaining signed consents for procedures, including medical history and skin consultation and evaluation.
- Act as liaison for locations staff members to communicate educational needs.
- Ensure all medical protocols for all clinical services, HIPAA and other regulatory compliance programs are in place.
- Ensures that patient/client clinical concerns or issues are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner with the General Manager or Clinical Department.
- Continually research leading medical skin care line(s), new technologies, new services, and provide merchandising recommendations to increase revenue and profits.
- Maintains a professional neat appearance.
- Ensures that all work/treatment areas are clean and neat.
- Competent to administer all service offerings and maintains up and coming education in the aesthetic space.
- Successfully completed med spa competencies related to each applicable service.
- Create and employ a robust training program for clinical staff.
- Be available for telemedicine appointments with patients as required due to incident report or otherwise escalated events.
- Evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with adverse reaction either in person or via telemedicine when necessary.
- Review and sign 100% of location assigned treatment charts and provide clinical oversight to locations.
- Provides prescriptions as needed for patients (i.e. prophylactic doses or post procedure medical needs).
- Work with the operations department to determine necessary supplies for business management of new locations.
- Assists with maintaining an appropriate corporate inventory, notifies management when the inventory is low or needs to be ordered.
- Develop training strategies for new locations and new services as directed by Corp NP.
- Willing to be on call for clinical questions and potential patient needs during all business hours.
General Job Requirements
- Must possess a strong and thorough knowledge of aesthetic lasers, skin treatment procedures, aesthetician practices and medical practice management.
- Maintains current license(s) in good standing and provides updated copies when renewed to management.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation.
- Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy.
- Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation.
- Must have sound judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull up 50lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Needed
- Registered Nurse License and Active Nurse Practitioners License.
- Registered Nurse License issued by the State is (Required).
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is beneficial.
- Experience as an Aesthetic injector 1+ years (Required).
