The primary responsibility of the ERP Implementation Consultant is to implement and support specialized ERP software at multiple client sites. This includes the setup of different modules within our ERP suite, data migration and interfaces to other software products. The Consultant is also responsible for developing and documenting customer specific functionality for the ERP software. This position does not have travel requirements.
As ERP Implementation Consultant, you’ll work directly with the Vice President, Professional Services and Product Delivery and play a critical role in the growth and success of our consulting practice and company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on client implementation projects to ensure smooth integration.
- Gather system requirements and document client processes effectively.
- Provide technical support and consulting services to clients, addressing their needs.
- Engage in training sessions for clients, partners, and internal staff.
- Conduct software and business process testing to ensure quality and functionality.
- Facilitate data migration services for clients, ensuring accurate transitions.
- Develop customized reports for customers using our built-in report writer.
- Foster and maintain ongoing relationships built on openness and trust with clients.
- Train client staff to maximize the effective use of our software.
- Create necessary documentation to support client needs.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Information Systems) or any other related field is a must; an equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable.
- 10+ years of experience in government contracting as in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing, or 5+ years leading GovCon ERP system implementations.
- Strong understanding of GovCon accounting and DCAA compliance
- Strong understanding of GovCon business process workstreams for accounting, billing, job costing, purchasing, planning, and reporting.
- Experience developing and maintaining client relationships and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including C-Suite
- Exhibit strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills and the ability to grasp and communicate complex concepts quickly and independently.
- Outstanding general consulting skills (soft skills, structured thinking, effective report writing and presentations, and stakeholder engagement).
- Exceptional oral, written, composition and grammatical skills.
- Ability to proactively manage priorities and goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check.
