The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for the overall operational efficiency and performance of the company. This executive will provide strategic leadership and oversight to all operational functions, including but not limited to business operations, patient care delivery, clinical operations, revenue cycle management, and facility management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of operations, growth, people management, and strategy.
What you will do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives and financial goals.
- Oversee the entire spectrum of operational functions, including patient care delivery, clinical operations, revenue cycle management, facility management, and support services.
- Optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient experience.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with payers, providers, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, patient-centricity, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with other executive leaders to achieve organizational goals and ensure seamless integration of operational functions across the company.
- Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in workers’ compensation industry, including knowledge of regulatory compliance, reimbursement, and case management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with healthcare information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and quality improvement methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
