Responsibilities Passionate about caring for OBGYN patients in a hospital setting? Join our highly specialized, motivated team of Pediatrix Medical Group OB Hospitalists at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!
- Our team at Broward Health Medical Center is comprised of 10 OB hospitalists, 3 maternal-fetal medicine specialists and 10 midwives (two physicians and a midwife are in-house 24/7)
- More than 3,000 deliveries annually and an estimated 4,800 triage encounters
- Three on-site robots, allowing the opportunity to perform minimally invasive GYN procedures
- 36 private mother/baby suites and three deluxe Empress suites, numerous labor and delivery rooms, operating rooms, in-house anesthesia and an on-site Level-III NICU
- A team of highly trained specialists available, including MFMs, neonatologists, midwives and full pediatric subspecialty support
- Primary responsibilities include both GYN and L&D – delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
- Standard schedule of seven to eight (24-hour) hospitalist shifts each month
- Flexible scheduling available, including hospitalist shifts, clinic shifts and GYN surgery
- The ideal candidate will have a Florida medical license
- Competitive sign-on bonus available to full time candidates
