Overview:
Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. The Deputy Program Director will act as the primary interface with our customer and for all contract management duties and overall contractor performance. The Deputy Program Director will be on-site and travel regularly between customer sites and corporate location.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate program planning, requirements, and implementation/execution of multiple Task Orders and Subcontracts to meet the client's goals and objectives.
- Coordinates, bi-weekly and as needed, staffing manager meetings to manage the staffing pipeline, security processing, and onboarding actions.
- Provide recommendations for staffing decisions and changes; executes staff performance evaluations; drives and coordinates staff roles, promotions, raises, and task order role rotations while utilizing the Chief of Programs processes and procedures.
- Oversees multiple task orders and subcontract requirements definition, estimation, and planning; maintaining the risk registry; contractual deliverables; Metrics Reporting and Corrective Actions.
- Communicates with customer for task order and subcontract response and escalated risk mitigation recommendations to include day-to-day customer technical manager interface, daily on-site presence for managing risk boards.
- Oversees monthly meetings, or as required, with contract administration on burn tracking, status reports, invoicing, and contract administration requirements, including monthly summary reports of task order performance.
- Collaborate with Contract Director with executing reports, document generation, and COR requested responses. Assists in the Monthly Risk and Issues reviews as part of reporting to Axiologic Leadership.
- Manages day-to-day operations of Task Order Leads and coordinating PM controls, facilitating and growing Track Leads with regular communication focused on reducing risks and efficiency gains.
- Facilitates day-to-day knowledge sharing building communities of practice between customer locations.
- Manages risks and issues related to overall contract performance. Reviews and changes recommendations based on monthly summary reports of overall contract performance, including total actual v. planned hours and costs for the entire contract, by Task Order; and projections for completion of each task order and overall contract staffing metrics.
- Oversees QA on program performance and budget reviews, and provides recommended change actions for the PM.
- Leads the development, planning, and implementation of processes and procedure to meet Axiologic Solutions strategic, operational, and business development goals. Responsibilities include:
- Metric development on cost, schedule, and performance of program and Task Orders to drive business process and revenue capture efficiency.
- Identification, development, and execution of strategies to capture funded revenue and organic/inorganic growth opportunities.
- Act as liaison between line and BD/growth team with a push vs pull mentality.
- Drive the maturity of the program's past performance repository, core competency narratives, and SME/Professional development to increase efficiencies in proposal, win themes and capability support.

- Proactively resolve issues and mitigate project risks. Lead clients and team through project reviews / quality assurance activities.
- Demonstrable accomplishments in managing Government Contracts, program staffing, onboarding, supervisory, and transition large programs.
- Demonstrate strong Agile PM capabilities to set up project for success (initial plan, all initial meetings with team & client coordinated, etc).
Qualifications:
- Must have an active/current TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- 15 or more years of experience relevant to government contract management.
- Master's degree preferred, bachelor's or equivalent training/experience required.
- Previous experience preferred supporting high-tech programs, preferably government related, AND experience in IT Management.
- Agile PM experience.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Must have demonstrable accomplishments in managing Government Contracts, program staffing, onboarding, supervisory, and transition large programs.
- Understanding with various contract types and schedules to include, but not limited to, GSA and Time and Material contracts.
- Strong familiarity with FAR, Compliant Communication, and Supervisory/HR/EEO legal requirements.
- Must have rapid workshop planning lifecycle experience - planning, logistics, facilitation, vision building, collaboration, and rapid transition planning.
- Strong familiarity with teaming agreements, NDAs, Joint Ventures, and mentor/proteges.
Level of Organizational Responsibility:
Primary duty consists of managing the work directly related to the management or general business operations of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Customarily and regularly directs the work of full-time team members in support of client's projects and tasks. This position has overall supervisory responsibility for all program operations.
Supervisor: Program Director
Proceeds independently following general plans, policies, and purposes of the practice. Results of work are considered technically authoritative and accepted without significant change. Assignments reviewed for the alignment of project/program objectives.
Level of Supervision Required:
The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most conflicts, coordinates work with others and interprets policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.
Travel Requirements:
Travel will be required both inside and outside the Washington National Capital Region (NCR).
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
