Fairfield Medical Center seeks an experienced Medical Oncology/Hematology Physician to join an established, progressive practice providing comprehensive oncology care in the community. The practice is conveniently located in Lancaster on the Fairfield Medical Center Campus. The provider is expected to work in conjunction with the two physicians and nurse practitioner. Responsibilities include:
- Perform follow-up patient visits
- Round in the hospital
- Round in the chemotherapy department
- Assess chemotherapy patients if needed
- Order subsequent chemotherapy plans
- Participate in Cancer Committee
- Engage in clinical research and trials
- Be actively involved in process improvement
