Speech Pathologist - Speech Therapy - Full Time Day

The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats swallowing and communication disorders caused by disease, injury, dysfunction or other physical limitations. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating communication abilities of individuals of all ages.
- Evaluating for Dysphagia in individuals of all ages.
- Planning treatment for all types of communication disorders/Dysphagia.
- Providing treatment for all types of communication disorders/Dysphagia.
- Maintaining patient records regarding evaluation and treatment programs implemented.
- Providing information regarding aspects of speech pathology to other professional staff.
- Attending patient care meetings and various department meetings, such as monthly department meetings and stroke team meetings.
- Participating in scheduled inservices.
- Demonstrating basic knowledge and competency in clinical skills and computer use for outpatient documentation and billing purposes.
- Complying with appropriate patient scheduling, per Policy & Procedure manual.
