Speech Pathologist - Speech Therapy - Full Time Day

The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats swallowing and communication disorders caused by disease, injury, dysfunction or other physical limitations. Responsibilities include:

Evaluating communication abilities of individuals of all ages.
Evaluating for Dysphagia in individuals of all ages.
Planning treatment for all types of communication disorders/Dysphagia.
Providing treatment for all types of communication disorders/Dysphagia.
Maintaining patient records regarding evaluation and treatment programs implemented.
Providing information regarding aspects of speech pathology to other professional staff.
Attending patient care meetings and various department meetings, such as monthly department meetings and stroke team meetings.
Participating in scheduled inservices.
Demonstrating basic knowledge and competency in clinical skills and computer use for outpatient documentation and billing purposes.
Complying with appropriate patient scheduling, per Policy & Procedure manual.
