As a Product Manager on the Field Performance Management Product, you will contribute to the transformation and modernization of our data environment by making data discoverable and available for analytical and reporting needs. You will have proven success in a finance or technology role with a special focus on Product, Scorecard or Technology management and need to have extensive experience in developing and delivering new tools and solutions using cloud-based tools (i.e., AWS, Databricks, and Thoughtspot). You will understand the need of Finance and through your ability and passion to think beyond raw and disparate data, you will use both existing and cutting-edge software solutions to empower the team to get rapid answers to key performance questions that will be utilized by the organization's top leaders to reach key strategic imperatives.
This product will be used daily by the Field Finance and Business Management teams to report the monthly scorecard and answer routine and complex questions about the Financial, Operational and Behavioral metrics within and as it pertains to the Business Bank Field Leadership organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Executes on product development strategy and outcomes for one area product with funding, complexity/dependency, risk/compliance and internal/external customer experience impact.
- Executes on area roadmaps aligned to overall Product vision using careful analysis of customer needs, competitive intelligence, data/analytics, firm’s capabilities and financials.
- Partners on software product development and tech build to create quality and scalable features/solutions including contributing to team through the writing of user stories.
- Executes area product workflow through JIRA. Prioritizes and sequences backlog considering audit/controls, data landscape, data center migration, resiliency, etc., coordination of release dates and is responsible for area backlog and health as part of overall product.
- Solid understanding of underlying technology that drives product. This includes ownership for tech assets needed for product development (full view expectation to help drive end-to-end ownership and the assumption of the tech debt that builds up over time based on decision making).
- Can facilitate collaboration with cross-functional product and area product leads. Engages and leverages key product group partners (Design, Engineering, Data/Analytics etc.) early enough and often in the area product development strategy and provides access to customers to deliver value.
- Builds and maintains strong connections to product partners on meeting dept./functional product development objectives.
Competencies
- Product Vision and Strategy: Passion for understanding the needs of the business and the customer base, to set a clear vision and strategy for the Area Product.
- User-Centric Design: Creating user-friendly interfaces and features that make the reporting and insights product valuable and intuitive to users.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding agile software development processes and technologies, as well as being able to work closely with software engineers and data scientists in developing products using cloud-based tools (i.e., AWS, Databricks, Thoughtspot) to transform the scorecard to a robust digital product.
- Data Analysis: Being able to analyze large and disparate data sets to extract insights and trends, which will be important in a reporting and insights product. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing data related to software products used by customers and employees, technology platforms & infrastructure. They will be experienced with defining operational metrics that can be used to measure the value delivered by these products and platforms.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the products, channels and customers involved with retail banking. Plus an understanding of the roles and needs of the support functions that enable a retail bank operate, such as product & design, technology, finance, risk, control and operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Being able to work with various stakeholders, including executives, business teams, and customers, to understand their needs and priorities and incorporate them into the product.
- Roadmap Planning and Execution: Defining a product roadmap, setting priorities, and executing against that roadmap to deliver value consistently.
- Communication Skills: Being able to communicate clearly and persuasively, both in writing and in person, to various audiences.
- Adaptability, Flexibility & Problem Solving: The Product & Design and Technology are functions are changing and maturing rapidly so adaptability and flexibility will be essential to navigating this evolving landscape, as will be problem solving.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7+ years of broad product management, business management and operational roles.
- Strong track record of delivering challenging initiatives using expert-level program/product/function management skillset.
- Experience in managing complex processes leveraging complex data and models.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels - team members, peers, business partners and senior management.
- Excellent relationship skills, highly collaborative – can build rapport and credibility quickly with all levels of the organization.
- Executive presence, comfortable interacting with, presenting to and influencing senior leaders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated senior leadership in terms of attitude, initiative, and inclusivity.
- Agile backlog management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Required Soft Skills
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Team player.
For this particular role, we are unable to sponsor any type of work visa including but not limited to H1B, H4 – EAD, OPT, TN, or L visas.
Candidates must be able to physically work in Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
