Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services Partner with strong experience to join our national firm in our Melville Office. This position requires a high-energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

The Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services Partner is responsible for developing case strategy, managing multiple engagements simultaneously, drafting and compiling expert reports and actively assisting with market-facing practice development efforts. This role also includes coaching, advising, and directing team members in managing and meeting client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Generate work through current contacts and connections and actively engage with new contacts to bring in new work.
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with senior client management, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Establish work plan for each client assignment including assigning tasks and responsibilities and ensures completion in accordance with plan and client expectations.
- Manage the assignment budget and profitability in area of responsibility.
- Take a lead role in managing engagements.
- Review and prepare reports to ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.
- Manage subordinate efforts - train and develop employees in all aspects, provide leadership, direction, and meaningful feedback.
- Provide staff evaluation and guidance during and at the end of each engagement as well as complete annual and semi-annual performance evaluations.
- Present at conferences, seminars and meetings of professional, legal or business groups.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates proven ability to manage valuation and litigation projects from start to finish.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong ability to develop and maintain customer service approach when building and maintaining client relationships.
- Demonstrated history of originating engagements.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Testifying expert experience preferred.
- B.S degree in accounting or finance required. Masters or Juris Doctorate is a plus.
- Professional licenses or credentials; CPA, CFF, CFE, ABV, ASA or CFA preferred.
Compensation Range
Salary: $300,000.00 - $600,000.00
