We are looking for a Global Payroll Manager to lead the global payroll process and manage US and International payroll operations. You are experienced in leading and growing Global Payroll Operations and are passionate about building world class payroll processes. You will work closely with HR and Finance and Accounting teams along with other organizational teams. You are a hands-on manager, who is expected to run day-to-day payroll operations, support new and existing global pay programs, manage relationships for outsourced payroll services in international locations, and drive process standardization, automation, and improvement in the controls for payroll globally. You have a strong knowledge of US payroll including compliance with Federal and State taxes and understanding of international payroll laws and taxes. You will report to the VP Controller and be part of the Finance and Accounting organization.
What you will do
- Manage and coordinate payroll operations and related activities that ensure compliance and timely preparation of U.S. and international jurisdiction payrolls for 1,500+ employees.
- Audit payroll transactions and payroll registers prior to finalizing - ensure proper processes are in place for capturing all inputs accurately and review payroll outputs.
- Oversee and review processing of off cycle payrolls for equity-related transactions.
- Perform and review monthly payroll close duties, including the preparation/review of period-end accruals and monthly journal entries for all payroll and benefits, preparation/review of reconciliations of payroll accounts and preparation of month-end flux analysis for all payroll accounts.
- Respond to employee inquiries and serve as liaison between employee and third-party providers.
- Develop and implement payroll processes, policies & procedures to ensure proper internal controls – own all payroll-related internal controls.
- Maintain compliance by reviewing all payroll reporting and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate government authorities.
- Support external financial statement audit and quarterly reviews.
- Coordinate with the HR team on payroll-related 401K and Worker’s Compensation audits.
- Manage other ad hoc projects as deemed necessary.
Who you are
- BS degree or equivalent. CPP designation preferred.
- 7+ years of payroll processing experience for a global workforce.
- 4+ years experience in a Managerial/Supervisory role.
- Strong Workday Payroll experience requirement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Adaptable to a fast changing work environment; able to deliver accurate and on-time payroll regardless of the circumstances.
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

Compensation Range: $85,000-$144,000/YR + Bonus + RSUs (flexible w/range depending on experience). This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
