The Department of Human Services, Warren State Hospital is seeking a Staff Physician 2 to be part of our team. As a Staff Physician 2, you will provide medical care and treatment of all physically ill patients. Responsibilities to include performing admission physicals and neurological exams and obtaining medical and surgical history on all new admissions to the hospital. You will have the opportunity to review all medical records from previous hospitalizations and community hospitals, and formulate medical diagnosis, treatment goals, and plans for individual patients. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- May change based on operational needs.
- Participates in on-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
Special Requirement: - This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
