Job Description:
MPower Wellness Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to oversee all medical operations and ensure the highest standards of care for our patients. The Medical Director will be responsible for managing clinical staff, guiding treatment protocols, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role also involves shaping and implementing innovative health solutions in the areas of Pain Management, Wound Care (including alternative treatments like skin grafts), Ketamine Therapy, IV Hydration, and General Practice.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both traditional and alternative medical practices, with a focus on patient-centered care. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with our administrative team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the overall service offerings at MPower Wellness Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the medical department and ensure high-quality patient care is delivered across all services, including Pain Management, Wound Care, Ketamine Therapy, and IV Hydration.
- Patient Care: See patients at least 3 days a week, providing direct care in general practice and specialized treatments. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, maintain up-to-date licenses and certifications, and implement policies to meet safety and legal standards.
- Staff Management: Supervise and mentor medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and other clinicians. Lead by example and foster a collaborative, supportive environment.
- Innovative Practices: Explore and integrate new medical treatments that align with the mission of MPower Wellness Center. Stay abreast of advancements in medical technologies and alternative therapies.
- Administrative Collaboration: Work with administrative staff to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. Assist in developing business strategies for medical services.
Requirements:
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license.
- Board Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, or Wound Care).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a leadership role, preferably with experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience or interest in alternative medical treatments such as Ketamine Therapy and IV Hydration.
- Ability to dedicate at least 3 days per week to direct patient care.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
