The Spot Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) Transformation team drives remediation of issues related to the E2E Spot RWA process, enabling closure of Consent Order and other regulatory commitments, including SACCR MRIAs.
In partnership with the Capital Reporting Group, the RWA Transformation group (within the Controller Chief Administration Office) is responsible for delivering a strong, sustainable process and control environment for Spot RWA, ensuring that RWA is appropriately identified, calculated, and reported, with robust E2E controls and governance over the process.
The role is to lead the Spot RWA Derivatives Transformation team, which reports into the Spot RWA Transformation Initiative Lead, and leads RWA Transformation for the Derivatives risk exposure, with potential to cover other exposures over time.
Responsibilities:
- In-depth knowledge of Derivatives products, infrastructure, data flows, processes.
- RWA knowledge - Derivatives (broader product set a plus).
- Strong delivery focus.
- Control focus – understanding how to build, implement and maintain strong controls.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong presenter in senior forums.
- Able to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including LOBs and Risk.
- Strong content writing skills.
- 15+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry.
- Experience at dealing with IA and risk & control functions.
- Work with a sense of urgency.
- Flexible / deal with moving targets.
- Know Citi systems / complex data and system flows.
- Know Citi trading products.
- Primary Local: New York (could change for the right candidate).
- Understanding of the industry, competitors' products and services, is also helpful in order to contribute to the commercial goals of the business.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree and managerial experience.
