Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources Consulting, the Sr. Human Resources Consultant will deliver comprehensive HR support and solutions to OneGroup insurance brokerage clients. Your primary responsibilities will include client consultations, developing and consulting on employee handbooks, managing employee relations and investigations, and ensuring compliance with federal and regulatory requirements, all while maintaining high standards of customer service. With a goal of supporting client retention, you will provide proactive updates on best practices and regulatory changes. Your work will be highly autonomous and independent, with management support available for collaboration and advisement. Collaboration with other service and sales groups will be integral to the role. Continuous education is encouraged to enhance your professional knowledge and ensure high-quality client support. This role is integral to the Business Services & Solutions unit, providing timely and high-quality services to OneGroup clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Satisfaction: Deliver timely and consistent high-quality customer service through written and oral communications, including problem-solving and troubleshooting for clients and members.
- Client Help Desk: Respond to HR Help Desk inquiries from clients within 24 hours. Provide client relative tools and materials to support their inquiry. Refer and encourage clients to utilize agency offered compliance management systems.
- Client Projects: Create, review, update, and revise employee handbooks for clients. Conduct HR compliance and best practice audits for clients. Perform tactical and strategic client projects from start to finish in areas of support offered, including compensation benchmarking, training and development and employment practices.
- Research & Regulatory: Conduct research and provide best practice HR information to clients. Stay informed about laws and regulations affecting client HR practices and communicate their impact regularly and timely to internal staff and clients.
- Marketing Content & Presentations: Develop and present periodic educational webinars for OneGroup clients and prospects. Support department content creation for email and social media marketing materials.
- Client Engagement & Development: Support client engagement efforts including stewardship and service meetings. Support client development efforts including RFP responses, presentations and meetings.
- Recordkeeping: Track and enter time supporting billable and non-billable clients in agency management system for invoicing and time reporting.
Qualifications
Education:
- Higher education degree in human resources, management, or a related field, preferred.
Professional Certifications/Licenses:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources (e.g. HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Advisor).
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in a consultant/advisor role.
- Experience supporting employees and management with HR needs.
- Experience applying labor law and employment compliance knowledge.
- Experience applying employment investigations knowledge.
- Experience applying leave of absence knowledge.

Minimum: USD $64,000.00/Yr. Maximum: USD $108,804.00/Yr.
