Provide oversight and guidance to program managers to ensure the management of Cyber Security Support Services contract activities, reporting to Sr Director, Defense Programs. In this role, the individual will oversee a Cyber Security Support Services program with a strategic focus on delivering mission-critical solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense. This includes supporting evolving needs in cyber defense and auditing, and a distributed team with physical locations in Virginia and California, with a partially remote workforce.
Delivers direction, management support and assists with the planning, supervision, and execution of all aspects of contract performance, scheduling, and technical performance. Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, contract, and human resources management of multiple programs and personnel leveraging shared services support.
Oversees the implementation of cybersecurity policies and technologies; ensures compliance with frameworks and performance measured by the DoD Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment Program; and vulnerability assessment, incident response, and remediation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership over cybersecurity project performance, service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitors programs and establishes milestones to make sure teams are meeting performance objectives.
- Fosters a culture of employee success, which includes supporting talent acquisition of skilled cybersecurity professionals and investing in internal talent to enhance team performance and retention.
- Engages mission partners to assess program status and operations for growth.
- Facilitates customer satisfaction (including CPARs), subcontractor management, and growing business within and outside the existing customer sets.
- Maintains current knowledge in key program capabilities (e.g., vulnerability management, application hardening, incident response, endpoint security, and cloud security tools).
- Supports business development by assessment of future project requirements and develops strategies for future work, reviewing existing work, and providing past performance write-ups for existing programs.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrate and maintain knowledge to meet DOD 8140 requirements through education, training, or personnel certification such as but not limited to an active DoD 8570 IA baseline security certification.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- DoD Program Management experience in Cybersecurity Support Services.
