GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries. The Chief Operational Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GA Telesis Flight Solutions Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the aviation industry, particularly in asset acquisition and management, supply chain management, logistics, and AOG support. The COO will ensure operational excellence through oversight and monitoring of KPIs, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the company’s global operations, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement continuous improvement operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and global scalability.
- Global Expansion: Collaborate with the FSG President and other corporate executives to drive the company’s global expansion efforts, ensuring seamless integration and operational effectiveness in new markets.
- Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, monitor operational performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the FSG President and corporate executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the FSG President and other corporate executives in the budgeting process and ensure effective cost management across all operational areas.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with the FSG President to leverage all available technology to enhance operational processes and drive innovation within the organization.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational leadership roles within the commercial aviation industry, with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of AOG support, supply chain management, and global logistics.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
