ABOUT THE JOB
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, highly accomplished, motivated and driven individual to join us as a Senior Director in our Corporate Treasury team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transaction Management - Act as Treasury focal for M&A deals and corporate transactions across all deal stages, ensure cross-functional alignment and timely execution of deliverables.
- Structuring, Diligence and Execution - Provide advice across all deal stages including structuring, due diligence, integration and financing strategy and execution for acquisitions, divestitures, ventures, JVs and spin-offs, with a particular focus on deal structure, credit and risk management aspects.
- Capital Structure - Recommend and implement appropriate capital structure given deal objectives, business and financial risk profiles, and forecasted economic and performance trends.
- Credit and Ratings - Develop and articulate credit story for HON deals.
- Capital Raising - Together with the Capital Markets team, lead capital raising efforts for HON deals.
- Legal Entity Structuring - Represent Treasury on global corporate projects and internal restructuring actions including legal entity simplification, tax restructurings, M&A integration and separation, and cash repatriation.
- Repatriation - Drive global cash repatriation to targets with tax, legal and other corporate functions.
- Loan Portfolio Management - Manage and optimize global portfolio of intercompany loans.
- Relationship Management - Maintain and develop strong relationships across Honeywell and externally with capital providers including banks, private equity and private credit providers, as well as rating agencies.
- Talent Development - Foster knowledge transfer and develop world-class Treasury talent while promoting a strong performance culture and achieving best-in-class results.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Strong academic record with Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; MBA/Master's degree or CFA and credit training is a plus.
- 8 years of investment banking experience is required, with a strong background in leveraged finance, M&A, capital and ratings advisory, project finance, debt capital markets, credit underwriting, portfolio management and/or adjacent groups.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize competing projects and deadlines, and a strong track record in leading complex financing transactions.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including M&A, DCF, LBO and credit rating models.
- Advanced technical knowledge of financial products and their applications.
- Strong familiarity with legal, tax and accounting principles related to the above.
- Experience negotiating merger agreements, loan and bond documentation.
- Strong IT skills and working knowledge in Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, and MS Excel.
- Good standing with regulatory agencies including (but not limited to) FINRA, NASD, SEC and Fed.
