Summary of Position:
As a Vice President, Human Resources, you will lead our HR function and drive strategic organizational growth. Core States' success hinges on creating a culture that attracts and retains talented AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) professionals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner with a proven track record of aligning HR strategies with business objectives, building a high-performance culture, and leading through change. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this individual will spearhead initiatives to develop talent, foster an inclusive and adaptive culture, and support the company’s ambitious growth and integration plans.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the senior leadership team, delivering expert HR counsel to drive business decisions and long-term growth.
- Lead HR due diligence for M&A activities, evaluating cultural fit and organizational alignment. Develop integration plans for seamless transitions of new employees, ensuring alignment with company values, policies, and practices.
- Manage, develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards program (fixed and variable compensation, benefits, wellness) that rewards performance, balances employee satisfaction with fiscal responsibility, and scales across our different geographies and business sectors.
- Ensure a comprehensive talent management strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent, with a focus on succession planning, leadership development, and cross-functional skill-building.
- Design a performance culture that maximizes employee potential, drives results, and positions the organization for long-term success. Create programs and frameworks that support continuous development and high performance.
- Foster a culture of learning and growth by implementing programs that promote continuous development, cross-functional skills, and leadership capacity.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and adaptive organizational culture that embraces diversity, equity, and belonging across all levels.
- Identify emerging workforce trends, regulatory changes, and HR challenges, developing proactive strategies to maintain competitive advantage and resilience. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee management of efficient and accurate payroll processes and the administration of the benefits program.
- Identify areas for improvement within HR operations and lead the adoption of best practices, innovative solutions, and technology enhancements to optimize workforce management and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience of at least 15 years in strategic HR leadership.
- Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry or a similarly dynamic, project-based environment is highly preferred.
- Prior experience and a willingness to be hands-on direct contributor while leading the Human Resources function, serving as the subject matter expert.
- Experience in HRIS management; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience leveraging HR technology and data analytics to drive efficiency and inform strategic HR decisions.
Team:
You will work with a dedicated team of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition professionals while also working directly with our Sr. leadership team.
Work Location:
This role is ideally a hybrid role based out of our West Chester, PA office. However, we are open to other candidates not within this geography.
