Job Description Summary
At this time, the team is seeking a Senior Manager of Partner Success, Strategic Accounts to drive the management and business growth of existing strategic partners. This exciting role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, focused on driving operational and commercial outcomes within PayPal.
Job Description
The role will have the following responsibilities:
- Support and execute the distribution of PayPal services through large, global Partners.
- Develop and manage business development initiatives within Partners' business to secure greater transaction volume.
- Support project management of strategic expansion initiatives from signed to launch.
- Build relationships with Partners’ senior management to drive trust and mutual benefit.
- Be seen as a payments and technology subject matter expert.
- Understand Partners’ business and position PayPal as the partner of choice.
- Drive usage of PayPal, Venmo, and all other direct credit card solutions.
- Understand Partners’ product pain points and communicate this knowledge to PayPal Product.
- Provide product guidance and recommendations to new Partners.
- Facilitate meetings with PayPal functional groups to execute and deliver to business plan.
- Ensure reports and KPIs are accurately tracked and delivered consistently.
- Coordinate with Partner to successfully onboard new merchants.
- Manage day-to-day operational queries from the Partner.
- Assist in resolution of complex issues, keeping stakeholders educated.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a willingness to take charge and work effectively to deliver results:
- Drive partner growth and secure long-term business objectives.
- Ensure clear go-to-market plans are agreed with new partners.
- Coordinate with Management to develop strategy and execute acquisition plans.
- Complete regular call reports to update management on account activity.
- Find operational and process improvements to create value on behalf of PayPal.
Personal Qualities, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, MIS or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Account Management or Business Development.
- Knowledge of online payment processing and the needs of off and online commerce platforms.
- Exceptional consultative and operational skills.
- Results oriented, self motivated & a “hands on” person.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong PC skills – especially PowerPoint and Excel.

PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99300 to $216040.
For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either location.
