Your role

We are looking for someone who can manage the quality assurance processes surrounding Clinia’s products and technology. Someone who strives to establish robust processes and procedures to ensure Clinia delivers a top-tier product with minimal preventable defects. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of quality and accountability within the development team, advocating for adherence to established testing processes and product requirements.

As a QA Automation Lead, you will:

Establish the objectives, tools and processes to build automation testing processes that align with the product roadmap, company goals, and customer needs;
Plan and prioritize QA related activities in a comprehensive roadmap based on the product development lifecycle;
Supervise the integration of automated tests into the existing CI/CD pipeline at every stage of the development cycle;
Regularly monitor automated test results, analyze failures, and identify areas for improvement. Use metrics like test coverage, execution time, and defect detection rate to refine the automation strategy, enhance test reliability, and address gaps in the testing process;
Actively participate in release planning activities and collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of software updates;
Organize efforts and activities around release testing, including regression testing and migration testing when necessary.

In terms of skills, you should have:

Extensive experience in documenting quality requirements;
Extensive experience in conducting quality assurance processes;
Developing experience using Typescript or other such programming languages;
Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright;
Knowledge of how to consume OpenAPI specs;
Knowledge of Git as a version control tool;
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools like Github Actions or equivalent;
Time management and organization skills to manage your workload and assigned tasks;
Communication skills to interact with developers and client tickets;
Attention to detail and being able to anticipate edge cases.

Finally, as we have a multilingual team in Canada and abroad, you must ideally be bilingual in both French and English (writing & verbal).
