JOB DESCRIPTION
Chase is seeking a highly effective and organized Vice President who is a strong communicator to drive end-to-end product management of ACH within the New Payment Rails (NPR) product group. This role involves partnering across banking payments and a matrixed enterprise organization that leverages ACH payments. A newly founded team will lead and coordinate product strategy and planning activities, lead change management, ensure compliance with rules, maintain the product roadmap, and partner with various delivery and operational teams.
The NPR team is responsible for driving product engagement for Pay by Bank and modernizing payments across all rails, including ACH, TCH RTP, FedNow, Early Warning Services (Zelle), and Central Bank Digital Currency. The scope of this role includes ACH use cases with a focus on high-risk applications of ACH to mitigate fraud and risk with enhanced features and services that customers love and trust. As the ACH Product Manager for New Payment Rails, you will be a people leader and lead NACHA rules and compliance for CCB, proactively managing ACH product management end-to-end to optimize the delivery of ACH products to customers. Bring your expertise to shape and enhance the journey of ACH products from inception to our customers' hands. Mentor a dedicated team and lead key activities across the product life cycle, turning challenges into opportunities for continuous value and delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish a new product function and steering committee for ACH across consumer use cases.
- Become a go-to product owner for ACH communications across various user journeys and use cases.
- Own Rules Program Management and Compliance with NACHA Rules, driving rules changes into the organization.
- Design and build new processes to fill gaps, focusing on operational enhancements.
- Direct key ACH product roadmap and performance reporting, highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and leading cross-functional coordination.
- Lead the change management framework across functional partners, ensuring adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high visibility over product timelines and dependencies, monitor blockers, ensure adequate resourcing, and liaise with stakeholders and functional partners.
- Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders, including risk, compliance, controls, operations, designers, and research.
- Engage with key partners to proactively manage industry changes that may impact the roadmap and existing product set.
- Coach and mentor the ACH team on best practices through collaborative discussions on resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
- Experience leading operational management and change readiness.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and the initiative to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story."
- Self-starter; effectively solves problems and shares ideas for improvement with clear prioritization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills across business and technology partners, including senior leadership.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple dependencies, secure commitments, and drive escalations.
